Our Story
Trident Aquatic Services was born out of a simple observation: the pool industry is losing its soul.
For over 15 years, Courtney's father built a trusted pool maintenance business in Houston — the kind where customers knew the owner by name, got honest advice over the phone, and never worried about surprise charges. That's how the industry used to work. Local operators who took pride in their craft and treated every pool like it was their own.
But that world is disappearing. Private equity firms have spent the last five years buying up independent pool companies at an unprecedented pace. Over 190 family-operated businesses have been acquired by a single consolidator alone. The companies that once knew your name are being absorbed into corporate portfolios managed by investment committees in distant cities.
We founded Trident to push back against that tide. When Courtney and Max relocated to Nashville, they saw an opportunity to expand the family legacy — bringing decades of hard-won expertise to a city that values authenticity, community, and doing things the right way.
